If your tomatoes and peppers are producing at the same time, homemade salsa is one of the best ways to enjoy the harvest.
Ingredients
- 5 ripe tomatoes
- 1 onion
- 2 jalapeΓ±os
- 1/2 cup cilantro
- 2 cloves garlic
- Juice of one lime
- Salt to taste
Directions
- Dice all vegetables.
- Combine in a large bowl.
- Add lime juice and salt.
- Mix well and refrigerate for at least one hour.
Enjoy with tortilla chips or spoon it over grilled chicken, burgers, or tacos.
