Fresh garden green beans don't need much to shine. A little butter, garlic, and seasoning let their natural flavor stand out.
Ingredients
- 1 pound fresh green beans
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt
- Black pepper
- Optional: grated Parmesan
Directions
- Trim the green beans.
- Boil for 4-5 minutes until tender-crisp.
- Drain well.
- Melt butter in a skillet and cook the garlic for one minute.
- Add the beans and toss until coated.
- Season and serve immediately.
