Ingredients

  • 1 pound fresh green beans
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt
  • Black pepper
  • Optional: grated Parmesan

Directions

  1. Trim the green beans.
  2. Boil for 4-5 minutes until tender-crisp.
  3. Drain well.
  4. Melt butter in a skillet and cook the garlic for one minute.
  5. Add the beans and toss until coated.
  6. Season and serve immediately.
